Living life and trying to blog

I don't care what people say, I can't walk and chew gum nor can I patty my head and rub my belly at the same time. I checked out my sis-in-laws blog and she's a blogging machine. So I try to blog and I have nothing to blog about. I have so much to do in life that blogging isn't on my agenda. So I'm try.

Announcement!

A visit to the doctor revealed quite a few finds about the new baby. One being the baby's due date has changed from Feb 9th to Feb 4th. Works for me. The earlier bird catches the worm. Another find is it's a girl! I'm happy with it especially since I am a girl and I already have a girl with 11 yrs of training under my belt. I might need a refresher on the the new baby stuff they have out there but I think I'll survive. My husband is happy as well because he wanted a girl. Now it's time to toss around some names. I already had a few in mind but we have yet to agree and he needs time to think about it. I'm going to be patient since I was able to name my first daughter all by myself so I guess I have to share since he is my husband and co-creator.

Along time Blogging.

It's been a long time since I blogged but I blame it on Facebook. Ever since I joined I neglected the blog. Since there are people who do keep up with the blog I should announce some news since the last time. Ahem...My husband and I bought a house. I'm a home owner whoppeee!!. Also I am with child. Pregnant I said. 3 months along and feel tired but that's slowly easing up. So much has changed in this 2009 year. I knew it once the new year came that what I prayed for would come to me. So the blessing have been abundant and I'm a extremely thankful to GOD for the gifts. I still need prayer so those who pray for me continue and those who haven't start praying, start. See the picture of my new house. Yippee!

This Puppy is evil

It's been two weeks and I'm losing my patience with this dog. She chews and bites too much for me. She bit me quite a few times. She jumps up and she's peeing too much in my house. You take her out to pee and in 5 minutes she pees in the house. I'm losing my mind and I'm more tired than every. I need the Dog whisperer. I been watching his show and I now I'm a pack leader but my daughter and husband not so much. She looks cute then becomes a terror. My husband has less patience then me and has many of times in anger threatened to get rid of the dog. She's also an escape artist. We had her in a pen and she learned how to jump out of that. Then my husband built a cover and she got out of that. I'm just going to leave her in the crate instead and she''l have to pee when someone gets home. She won't pee in her crate and she's held it at night for at least 8 hours. Once she's out of the crate she's a crazy puppy. Don't let that cute face fool ya! Brownie the Barbarian.

The newest arrival to our Family

Our newest addition, Brownie, will arrive on Thursday Nov 18th and I'm still in shock. I am a little worried since this is my first time as an adult being responsible for a new puppy. As a kid you started out thinking how cool and fun and by the weeks end the puppy has become a chore. So, I know Anya will not be as repsonsible especially since she still is hesitant to handle the puppy and on our visit to the shop we got a real good look at the energy the puppy has.

Oh my!

So tomorrow I'm looking for a pup playpen to put in the garage so while we are at work she'll have some room to roam but not totally destroy the place. And to think my husband wanted to leave the pup in the kitchen with a couple of baby gates to keep her out of the rest of the house. I don't think so. I know as time goes by and with the training she'll be less troublesome and in due time will grow out of the chewing stage, I can enjoy her as I envisioned. Please pray for me for I know not what I've done

I need a vacation from my vacation

I did enjoy myself alot on my Disney Cruise. Even though we were supposed to go to the Eastern Caribbean but Hurricane Paloma changed our plans. The itinerary changed 1 day before we left. We ended up in the Western Caribbean going to Disney's private Island Castaway Cay, Cozumel, Costa Maya, & Castaway Cay again with two days at sea. Todd thought they were going to cancel but I knew better. Even though we didn't go where we wanted to I did enjoy enjoy Mexico. I had never been to any of the ports and got a chance to see Mayan Ruins and beautiful beaches. One thing about a Disney cruise that I liked it that the horn blew "when You wish a upon a star" which is cool when you leave port. Everyone's waving at us as we left Port Canaveral and then they'd blow the horn. It made me feel kind of special going on a Disney Cruise and wondered if those on land wished there were going.

As I explored every nook and cranny of the ship and tried to see every aspect of entertainment. I was hooked on Bingo and the Quiet Cove (adult only area). Anya unfortunately didn't want to go the Oceaneers Lab even though they had Wii, computers, and other activities. I hope next time I can have more family travel with us (hint..dusty) so she can have some one to hang with and I can too. My husband was a bit of a cabin potato. He spent more time lying in bed in the cabin on seas days. Other than dinner I can count 3 times we hung out on the ship. I need a ship buddy too!(hint...Shalimar/Dusty). Grandpa did the same but he does that even at home too! I did see a few movies since Disney can run their movies on the ship.

Shopping is a big thing on Cozumel. I got my free stuff first and then small trinkets of jewelry which may be back up Christmas presents. I always get a magnet from each port to put on my fridge. I do plan on going on another cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and then Hawaii as well. since I live within ours of the ports I plan to take advantage of the Caribbean.

Just Tired

Ok, I'm back from week one of training. I can officially say I hate flying. I almost missed my connecting flight. I got home though, so tired that I wanted to nap but I couldn't. I picked Anya up from the bus stop and then we set off to soccer practice. I picked up some food that I could microwave real quick. I'm going into work Overtime tomorrow at 6 am so I'll be taking a couple tylenol sleep aides and heading to bed.

On the Road again

I'm preparing to go to Jacksonville for training next. Work keeps me well learned. I ended up working a half a today. I needed to go to the Lane Bryant Outlet store to get some business casual clothes. I don't have business casual. I have business or casual. Oh My goodness! If I didn't give myself a budget I would of bought twice as much. I love Fall. I love sweaters, jeans, long sleeve shirts but I live in Hot A#$ Florida so I don't get to wear fall clothes much. It is much cooler if 88 degrees with a little less humidity is cooler but it is cooler. Since I'm going up to Northern Florida it will be much cooler there so I bought a light zip up sweater. I wanted one in each color but I had to stick to my budget. I got one in brown. I'm all set and ready. I'll only be gone from Mon-Fri but I'll be off to another training for my business the following week. I'll spend two weeks holed up in a hotel every evening. I'll have my Puter with me so I can watch Netflixs or surf the Net. So Pray for my Husband so Anya doesn't get on his nerves as much.

I'm putting myself out there...scary internet

Ok, I wasn't an advocate for myspace or facebook I thought it was a place for pedophiles but my friends (Shalimar & Kathy) and family (Dusty) finally convinced me. Facebook doesn't look to bad and who knows I might find long lost friends. I did find one (Kathy) who invited me to join. I haven't looked much but I saw a few people from high school which is kind of cool. So I'm going to put myself out there on the internet this being step one and facebook being step two. As I'm typing, I'm getting my old laptop ready to pass on to my 10 yr daughter. I've put parental controls on it. Basically she can only access Disney, Nick, and yahoo for searching. She'll start small and work my way up. She won't have a email at this time since she doesn't have anyone to communicate with yet but time will tell.

Another Soccer Sunday. They won. 10-1. They ended up swtiching up kids at the second half since the other team was getting their butts handed to them. Even when they switched we ended up scoring 2 more points. I'm usually not a gloater but the kids are very good. Anya was gloating a little bit but I told her that they may play a team that may be better them. Anya ended playing defense, forward and Goalie this game. She's still learning to be agressive and not be afraid to take the ball away. It reminds me of my soccer days. I was a lazy soccer player. I see it in her sometimes but she also plays in the extreme heat. In California it rarely got this hot. 90 degrees today. I remember hating to run to long and slowly moving back to position or not giving that extra Umph to get the ball. But now as an adult I'm like if I had the ball I would've done this or done that. In reality I'd be huffin and puffin and ready to pass out trying to relive my soccer days. So I'm happy to cheer on the side lines and attempt to give a few unwanted pointers.

Baby fever

One more thing

During my Saturday off while shopping I went into Babies R US. For those who don't know my biological clock has been gonging not ticking. I told myself I'll wait a couple of years to get my money straight among other things but I'm going to be 35 in November. Dusty also told me there always going to be bills. So, I've decided to let go and let God. Once my Depo shot wears off I'll let nature take it's course. Todd is a little apprehensive but I was surprised when Anya told him we went into Babies R US how calm he was. So once in a while I mention baby related stuff or issues to feel him out. I know he's scared. 44 and could be a daddy soon. At my age waiting makes it harder. I'm no spring chicken and my eggs aren't too fresh either. Some people say it's like starting all over. True it is but when I had Anya her father wasn't there when I was pregnant and her first two years. I want to experience it with my husband. Raising a child with him and us four being a family and have a true connection that I grew up with.

All my hardwork ruined by one child

Here's my clean shower and the shower pole I assembled all by myself. Todd would've done it but it wouldn't have gotten done today.

First Saturday off since...

It's been a while since I had a Saturday off. I've been working overtime every Saturday for the past 6 weeks. I've been getting use to the paycheck so I hope this overtime last at least the end of the year. What pray tell do you think I did on my Saturday off. Cleaned. I kind of bounced around the house cleaning like a made woman. Anya did her part kind of. I ended up vacuuming after her. It just didn't look like she vacuumed at all. Well, I did play music while I cleaned so that helped. I almost killed myself cleaning the shower. I hate tiles the grout is the hardest to clean and Tilex will kill you when you try to hose down the tile in cased shower. The problem with cleaning is eventually someone will want to use the clean shower and you'll have to cook in the clean kitchen. It's a never ending battle. I can go on a cleaning rant forever but I'll end it with this... I cleaned until 11:30 and then showered in my cleaned shower and Anya headed out the door to Shop!

I haven't shopped in a while as well. Finally spending some that hard earned money. I had to find Anya a decent shirt to take school pictures in this week. I ended up buy myself a nice work outfit. Anya also got a dress..yes a dress. She needs one for the Cruise in November. She'll look just right once I get her hair just right. We kind of had a mother daughter day. Todd had was on call so he ended up working all day. I did get him a few things to make him feel better. Most of what I got was for the house. I needed laundry baskets and another hamper. I feel like 3 people shouldn't use towels like they are in a hotel. I finally got Anya to at least use the same towel for a week. I've been doing that myself for most of my life but Todd, well lets say I'm still training him.

All this cleaning and shopping has made me tired and broke. Ok not broke but I spent more than I intended. I don't fell like cooking so they'll be eating hot dogs tonight. I still need to get groceries tomorrow. UGH
