I need a vacation from my vacation

I did enjoy myself alot on my Disney Cruise. Even though we were supposed to go to the Eastern Caribbean but Hurricane Paloma changed our plans. The itinerary changed 1 day before we left. We ended up in the Western Caribbean going to Disney's private Island Castaway Cay, Cozumel, Costa Maya, & Castaway Cay again with two days at sea. Todd thought they were going to cancel but I knew better. Even though we didn't go where we wanted to I did enjoy enjoy Mexico. I had never been to any of the ports and got a chance to see Mayan Ruins and beautiful beaches. One thing about a Disney cruise that I liked it that the horn blew "when You wish a upon a star" which is cool when you leave port. Everyone's waving at us as we left Port Canaveral and then they'd blow the horn. It made me feel kind of special going on a Disney Cruise and wondered if those on land wished there were going.

As I explored every nook and cranny of the ship and tried to see every aspect of entertainment. I was hooked on Bingo and the Quiet Cove (adult only area). Anya unfortunately didn't want to go the Oceaneers Lab even though they had Wii, computers, and other activities. I hope next time I can have more family travel with us (hint..dusty) so she can have some one to hang with and I can too. My husband was a bit of a cabin potato. He spent more time lying in bed in the cabin on seas days. Other than dinner I can count 3 times we hung out on the ship. I need a ship buddy too!(hint...Shalimar/Dusty). Grandpa did the same but he does that even at home too! I did see a few movies since Disney can run their movies on the ship.

Shopping is a big thing on Cozumel. I got my free stuff first and then small trinkets of jewelry which may be back up Christmas presents. I always get a magnet from each port to put on my fridge. I do plan on going on another cruise to the Eastern Caribbean and then Hawaii as well. since I live within ours of the ports I plan to take advantage of the Caribbean.
