I'm putting myself out there...scary internet

Ok, I wasn't an advocate for myspace or facebook I thought it was a place for pedophiles but my friends (Shalimar & Kathy) and family (Dusty) finally convinced me. Facebook doesn't look to bad and who knows I might find long lost friends. I did find one (Kathy) who invited me to join. I haven't looked much but I saw a few people from high school which is kind of cool. So I'm going to put myself out there on the internet this being step one and facebook being step two. As I'm typing, I'm getting my old laptop ready to pass on to my 10 yr daughter. I've put parental controls on it. Basically she can only access Disney, Nick, and yahoo for searching. She'll start small and work my way up. She won't have a email at this time since she doesn't have anyone to communicate with yet but time will tell.

Another Soccer Sunday. They won. 10-1. They ended up swtiching up kids at the second half since the other team was getting their butts handed to them. Even when they switched we ended up scoring 2 more points. I'm usually not a gloater but the kids are very good. Anya was gloating a little bit but I told her that they may play a team that may be better them. Anya ended playing defense, forward and Goalie this game. She's still learning to be agressive and not be afraid to take the ball away. It reminds me of my soccer days. I was a lazy soccer player. I see it in her sometimes but she also plays in the extreme heat. In California it rarely got this hot. 90 degrees today. I remember hating to run to long and slowly moving back to position or not giving that extra Umph to get the ball. But now as an adult I'm like if I had the ball I would've done this or done that. In reality I'd be huffin and puffin and ready to pass out trying to relive my soccer days. So I'm happy to cheer on the side lines and attempt to give a few unwanted pointers.

Baby fever

One more thing

During my Saturday off while shopping I went into Babies R US. For those who don't know my biological clock has been gonging not ticking. I told myself I'll wait a couple of years to get my money straight among other things but I'm going to be 35 in November. Dusty also told me there always going to be bills. So, I've decided to let go and let God. Once my Depo shot wears off I'll let nature take it's course. Todd is a little apprehensive but I was surprised when Anya told him we went into Babies R US how calm he was. So once in a while I mention baby related stuff or issues to feel him out. I know he's scared. 44 and could be a daddy soon. At my age waiting makes it harder. I'm no spring chicken and my eggs aren't too fresh either. Some people say it's like starting all over. True it is but when I had Anya her father wasn't there when I was pregnant and her first two years. I want to experience it with my husband. Raising a child with him and us four being a family and have a true connection that I grew up with.

All my hardwork ruined by one child

Here's my clean shower and the shower pole I assembled all by myself. Todd would've done it but it wouldn't have gotten done today.

First Saturday off since...

It's been a while since I had a Saturday off. I've been working overtime every Saturday for the past 6 weeks. I've been getting use to the paycheck so I hope this overtime last at least the end of the year. What pray tell do you think I did on my Saturday off. Cleaned. I kind of bounced around the house cleaning like a made woman. Anya did her part kind of. I ended up vacuuming after her. It just didn't look like she vacuumed at all. Well, I did play music while I cleaned so that helped. I almost killed myself cleaning the shower. I hate tiles the grout is the hardest to clean and Tilex will kill you when you try to hose down the tile in cased shower. The problem with cleaning is eventually someone will want to use the clean shower and you'll have to cook in the clean kitchen. It's a never ending battle. I can go on a cleaning rant forever but I'll end it with this... I cleaned until 11:30 and then showered in my cleaned shower and Anya headed out the door to Shop!

I haven't shopped in a while as well. Finally spending some that hard earned money. I had to find Anya a decent shirt to take school pictures in this week. I ended up buy myself a nice work outfit. Anya also got a dress..yes a dress. She needs one for the Cruise in November. She'll look just right once I get her hair just right. We kind of had a mother daughter day. Todd had was on call so he ended up working all day. I did get him a few things to make him feel better. Most of what I got was for the house. I needed laundry baskets and another hamper. I feel like 3 people shouldn't use towels like they are in a hotel. I finally got Anya to at least use the same towel for a week. I've been doing that myself for most of my life but Todd, well lets say I'm still training him.

All this cleaning and shopping has made me tired and broke. Ok not broke but I spent more than I intended. I don't fell like cooking so they'll be eating hot dogs tonight. I still need to get groceries tomorrow. UGH

Feeling HOT HOT HOT

The Jamboree was this past Sunday. All the soccer teams played 2 games each. Even though it's September it felt like a hot July day. I tried to take pictures of Anya playing but my camera isn't that advanced and it looked blurry trying to zoom in on the field. I did take a picture of her in her uniform. Well, after a hot day and 2 games we all were tired. I put myself to bed at Anya's bedtime at 9pm. I slept long and woke up tired. Still a bit tired. Anya now has decided she doesn't want to join chorus and wants to be in this other program they have at school. Which is fine with me since the other program is more education based and she hadn't turned in my check for the chorus. Of course I'm not surprised she changed her mind. I'm glad she did it now then weeks later. Ok, I'm still tired and need to cook dinner. Until next time...

Here...I Blogged

My brother texted me to blog more. Here I am bloggin. Ok today was a frustrating day. First of all people in Florida can't drive. Next, Dell the company I bought my first laptop from and tried to buy my second one lose orders even when they send you a confirmation of your order. Then I find out that Anya's soccer team had already started practices on the 2nd of Sept and no one called us. I was scrambling to buy cleats, shin guards and sports bras. Practice is tomorrow at 5:30 and their first two games are Sunday. UGH. I also have a headache. I'm finally at home trying to rest. Here are some pics of my home since some of you have never seen it. This was taken before we moved in. And no I didn't buy the house I'm just renting. I'll have new pics after the weekend since Anya will playing soccer. I blogged even though I'm tired and frustrated. Tomorrow will be better...TGIF

It's Only been a month since My first Blog

Ok, my second post. Whew! Ok, I have an excuse. I've been working overtime at work. The money has been worth it cause I'm buying things and adding to my small business. Oh, yea for those who forgot I am a Referring Travel Advisor. My website is http://www.cptravel.net/. (plug!) If not you're using my website to book you travel, you should be. Well, I am venturing also in to Cruises. I'll have another website where I'll book cruises. This is coming soon hopefully by the end of the year so if any of you planning a cruise next year then book with me! I'll be posting that information by mid October. Ok enough about my biz. Everytime I look at my sis-in-laws blog it inspires me and this time it inspired me to post a few pictures. I found a pic of my dad and his twin brother who were probably my age at the time but my goodness it's like looking at my brother. It's like two versions of my brother and being he's a Gemini it probably is.
